David A. Grossman, CPA is a founding shareholder of GBH CPAs, PC. David specializes in finance and accounting, mergers and acquisitions, SEC filings, IPOs, international operations, venture capital, forecasting, and banking relationships. He has experience with both national and international corporations and has served many industries including oil and gas, financial services, manufacturing, airline services, mining, telecommunication, technology, mortgage banking, software development, healthcare and distribution.
David is fluent in preparing the required statements for the SEC and NASDAQ, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q and SB-2 registration statements. He is also well-versed in navigating the Sarbanes-Oxley requirements to ensure that internal controls and procedures are in place and operating effectively and the necessary testing of compliance exists.
His background in both public accounting and private industry enables David to closely identify with the financial executives he serves. David has been an audit partner since January 2005. David held several executive-level financial and operations positions at companies such as BHP Billiton, a public global diversified resources company, LynkTel, Inc., a private telecommunication and technology start-up company, and Baltic International USA, Inc., a U.S. public company with international joint venture operations. Prior to David’s experience in business and industry, he advanced to the position of senior audit manager during a 10-year career at Deloitte & Touche, one of the “Big Four” accounting firms.
David earned a BS in Accounting with distinction from Indiana University. He is an active member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Texas Society of CPAs, where he has been the Chairman of the Houston Chapter of Texas Society of CPA’s Financial Institutions Study Group.
