John A. Lehman, CPA is a shareholder of GBH CPAs, PC and brings over 15 years of experience from both the public and private accounting sectors. He has worked with and served both large and small companies focused in the oil and gas exploration and production companies, manufacturing, and service industries.
John has experience in SEC reporting, stock options, derivative financial instruments, and hedging activities as well as management consulting experience in the evaluation and application of accounting principles and processes and the selection and implementation of accounting and fixed asset software.
In addition to US GAAP, John has experience with UK GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards ("IFRS"). His experience with audit services includes initial public offerings and ongoing reporting in both the US and the UK (the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange).
John has been working in public accounting since 1996. He was a senior with White Petrov McHone, a principal with UHY LLP and has been an audit partner since 2007 with a local CPA firm. He has experience in SEC reporting, stock options, derivative financial instruments, and hedging activities. John began his career as staff accountant with Houston General Insurance Company and accounting manager with Ion and Kenmont Laboratories.
John graduated from the University of Texas and is involved in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
